Go-for-IT was set up in 2004 in order to save an important website that was no longer needed by its creators. This was the excavation of St Bartholomew's Churchyard, Penn, Wolverhampton.
Since that time, several others have been added to the list of those that would otherwise have been lost to the world; the most important of these is the history of Davenport's Brewery at Birmingham.
