Taken from the report of: A Boyle

From the four trial trenches a total of 31 individuals were recovered.  Of these there were:
10 males. 5 females. 5 adults of unknown sex. 11 adolescents– all in various states of preservation (those that were in poor condition had not been buried without a coffin but were laid directly in compact soil), and completeness (some skeletons had been truncated by later burials). Some coffin name plates were found; some of which were still legible; those that were not are being investigated by X-ray.
Human Bone Catalogue
A Boyle
Key to Bone preservation:
GOOD = Complete or reconstructible
FAIR = More than 50% survival.
POOR = Less than 50% survival - considerable fragmentation - reconstruction not possible.
Key to age categorization:
SUB ADULT = Less than 15 years (Based on dental development and bone length.)
YOUNG ADULT = 15 - 19 years
ADULT = 19 - 40 years
AGING ADULT = 40+ years
Key to determination of sex:
Sex was determined by standard pelvic and skull morphology and on measurement for those aged 15 years onwards.
Because the evaluation trenches were only 2 x 2 meters, the probability of recovering complete skeletons was highly unlikely and for this reason completeness was not seen as a significant factor.
