Now in a very sorry state, this building, situated on the Wednesfield Road, was once a beautiful farmhouse. More recently it was the residence of a doctor, but has now been taken over by youths who delight in damaging it. The police and the Council are well aware of this but there is nothing done. The reason being that when it is eventually condemned, the land can be sold off for modern housing. [Home]


This modern and futuristic-looking building, on the Scotlands island, has long puzzled local residents and shoppers as to its purpose. Suggestions ranging from a Tool Hire warehouse to offices for the Nationwide Building Society have been voiced and, having taken what seemed an eternity to build, still no one is any the wiser.
