Go for it art gallery

This building was once the Art Gallery and Museum but at some point the management took the decision to get rid of all the ancient and interesting artifacts and devote the building to Pop Art. It has long remained a mystery where exactly the exhibits went and any questions put to local councilors concerning their disappearance will be met with a blank stare and a shrug of the shoulders -- the more cynical amongst the public might say they paid for someone's university fees.

Prince Albert
Named in honour of the Prince Consort, this pretty Victoian pub is situated close to the Chubb Buildings and one is tempted to the idea that Mr Chubb himself may have popped in for his morning draught from time to time

Springfield Brewery
At one time Wolverhampton boasted several breweries but, alas, the Mitchell's and Butlers one in Springfield Road fell foul of the financiers who decided to close it and move production elsewhere. It probably isn't a coincidence that the entire M & B empire has now collapsed. Like so many buildings once left empty, destruction will follow; this one was destroyed by gypsies who, having camped illegally and having nothing better to do one evening, decided to set fire to it. I suppose it was to keep the tarmac warm.

Wolverhampton market
Looking over the a car park which was to become the new site of the outdoor market (seen at present to the left). The ambitious plan was to build 'superior' apartments and generally improve the area. Unfortunately, the stall-holders in the indoor market continued to struggle. It is suspected that the planners would like to demolish and rebuild the area.
