August 1995
Work is being carried out on a new building in front of the Cheshire Home.
The brickwork is now about thirty courses high. The purpose of this building
is not yet known and there never seems anyone about to ask.

After a long period, work has resumed. A row of upright bricks have been
built and the brickwork has risen another metre or so. Although it was difficult
to determine the purpose of the building before now, it is clear it is no
more than an extension to the existing.
The mail building contractor is Colton.

The roof supports are nearly all in place. It will not be
long before the tiles are placed.
Why do I never see anyone working on this building?
