The first burial in the “new cemetery” was that of Ralph Brown, who died on the 31 January 1993 but was not interred until 09 February, some nine days later. The cemetery had been open for about a week prior to this. Although there is a headstone commemorating the death of Herbert xxxxxx, on 26 September 1991, he was not buried until after Mr Brown.
