David first hit the streets of Wolverhampton in the late 70s as a mobile DJ. He would walk at great speed through the town holding a ghetto blaster and playing "crap music", like Bing Crosby et al. He later developed into the better known cowboy character, complete with toy guns and Stetson. He would surprise the inhabitants by "bushwhacking" them as they went about their shopping and giving his opinion on many random matters. Although alarming to anyone who didn't know him he was always completely harmless.
David was abandoned by his mother at a very early age and was raised by various strict religious institutions where he suffered both physical and mental abuse.
One day in Dudley Street, in 2005, he was approached by one of the many Christian groups who preach the Good News there and was ultimately baptized into the faith.
He can still be found in his old stomping ground but this time with a message of love.
